Once you go to the final area you are stuck there, and even more so when you get to the final boss room you can’t go back in the location so can’t even kill more enemies at that point. The game has a point of no return that it will warn you about (and prompt you to make a save before) and there is no post story play or NG+. Note About Missables:ĭue to the way this game is set up, all trophies except for the main story ones and completing the game are technically missable. It’s highly recommended leaving this until last so that you know the game very well and know how to progress, as you will want to optimize your story progress and avoid as much fighting as possible on this difficulty. Your last step will be to complete the game on Supernova difficulty. Step 3: Complete the Game on Supernova Difficulty Only going for main story objectives you can get to the end of the game in about 3 – 5 hours, so any missed side quests aren’t a massive deal. Alternatively, for some of the side content you can start a new playthrough and rush through the story to get to the required spots on lowest difficulty. Work on any kill/skill trophies and side content. If you didn’t get it all done prior you can reload your save now to before the point of no return. Step 2: Reload Your Save and Complete any Remaining Miscellaneous Trophies and/or Start a New Playthrough for Missed Side Quest Trophies Be aware of the miscellaneous trophy requirements, you can work on those as you’re playing so you don’t need to farm for them later.Īlong the way, follow the missable trophies / achievements walkthrough to get everything in a single playthrough: The Outer Worlds Tips & Missables Guides. Most side content related to trophies you can’t lock yourself out of without being actively evil to factions and people, or just ignoring it until you’re stuck in the final area. Step 1: Play Through the Story, Making New Saves Often and Aiming to Complete as Many Side Quests as Possibleįor the first playthrough it’s recommended playing on Normal (or Hard if you want a bit of a challenge), save often before major choices and aim to complete as much of the side content as you can before progressing. There are a few mutually exclusive trophies that you will need to make save backups for if you want to do all of them in one playthrough, and you will be highly recommended to do a separate playthrough for Supernova difficulty which adds some survival elements to it. The list consists about half of miscellaneous tasks for killing enemies a certain way or doing specific things, and about the other half for completing quests and doing ones a certain way. The game is somewhat linear without the same world scope as a Fallout game, but there are a large number of progression possibilities due to the dialogue and skill systems. Gameplay is similar to Fallout though smaller in scope, and with a larger focus on skill setup and dialogue similar to their isometric RPGs like Pillars of Eternity. Welcome to The Outer Worlds Trophy Guide! The Outer Worlds is the new game from Obsidian Entertainment, taking place in an alternate history spacefaring future and incorporating elements from all their prior games.
